Taking Risks? 23% Use IoT Services

Although security risks in the Internet of Things grows along with IoT itself, nearly one in four businesses – 23 percent – that use the cloud utilize IoT features, Clutch found.

Falcon said his company is beginning to see some IoT, most often the connection of devices to already-existing systems. Despite that, he added, "I think there's a background knowledge that a lot of IoT is insecure. I don’t think it's fully hit home how vulnerable some SMBs might be there."
