As Times Changed, So Did Business

Atrion Communications has been in business since 1985, when Vietnam veteran Pat Grillo launched the Branchburg, N.J.-based solution provider as a reseller of data communications equipment and services. Data and network security were not top business priorities at the time. But today, of course, the story is vastly different. That's a big reason Atrion – which now offers a much broader menu of IT products and services - held a "Security Day" last week for about 40 of its customers in and around the New York City area, addressing issues in the security space while giving them face time with security vendors that work with Atrion.

Pat remains Atrion's president and CEO, while his son, Dominic (pictured), is executive vice president. IT Best of Breed sat down with him during the Security Day event at the company's headquarters.
