50 For The Future

A Dell research project has identified 50 cities around the world that embrace technology with an eye toward the future.

The attributes these cities possess help solution providers take advantage of tech opportunities and thrive in an ever-changing economy, using cutting-edge technology.

Dell started the research last year for the "Future-Ready Economies Model," basing it on economic analysis by forecasting firm IHS. This is the second year Dell has conducted the research, which it says allows the company and its partners to help customers identify technology strategies that foster growth.

The following highlight three groups of U.S. cities based on common strengths, and a number of foreign locales that meet the criteria for “future ready.”
