Although you might have heard his name mentioned in the blockbuster movie “Steve Jobs,” former Apple evangelist Guy Kawasaki has moved on to become a marketing guru. He was one of Apple's employees responsible for marketing the Macintosh in the 1980s, but moved on to become a renowned marketing specialist, author, venture capitalist and technology entrepreneur.

Speaking at Cisco Marketing Velocity this month in San Diego, Kawasaki (pictured at that gathering) told hundreds of Cisco partners several simple ways they can try to win new business through persuasion and influence.
