Bluewolf was founded in 2000 as Salesforce.com’s first consulting partner.

Over the past decade and a half, the New York-based company -- No. 240 on CRN's 2015 Solution Provider 500 list -- has grown almost entirely organically to more than 600 employees across 14 offices. 

Corrine Sklar joined Bluewolf as its chief marketing officer back in 2006, when the company was still tiny, and helped spearhead campaigns and messaging that put the solution provider firmly on the channel community's radar.  

Sklar shared some lessons from that journey during a breakout session Tuesday at XChange Solution Provider 2016 in Los Angeles, hosted by CRN's parent ,The Channel Company.
