Telco Will Lean On New 'Open Edge' Partner Program For 40% Of Revenue

Ofel said he expects between 30 percent and 40 percent of Telco's revenue to come through the partner program. The company has already signed a number of partners, including Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, CYAN, Netrounds, Tail-f Systems and AudioCodes.

AudioCodes, a converged VoIP and data solutions provider, said it appreciates Telco's focus on speed-to-market.

The program "facilitates faster adoption of hosted enterprise communication services," said AudioCode's Yehuda Herscovici, "while enabling smooth migration away from legacy communications equipment."

Mats Nordlund, CEO of Netrounds, said the networking industry is working to enable networks that deliver connectivity services across network domains, as well as between physical and virtual service endpoints. "Teaming up with Telco," Nordlund said, "makes it possible to provide such a solution to service providers."
