Whether there's an actual talent shortage, or your company is based out in the boonies somewhere, these strategies will help find the right people when the selection appears to be thin.

Success starts with a strong brand and a compelling company narrative that stresses the success and satisfaction of employees, James says. From there, employers can move on to advertising open positions widely, including in local media outlets, and offering existing employees nice referral bonuses like extra days off, business trips and luxury gifts.
