Check Point Software Technologies saw a double-digit jump in the number of units sold in Q1 2017 over the same period last year, a jump that landed it at No. 7 on the top network security brands of the quarter. Check Point sold 1,802 units in the quarter, up 47.7 percent year over year. That number represents 2 percent of all units sold in the quarter. Check Point has moved to adopt a platform security strategy with its portfolio, announcing the launch of Check Point Infinity architecture in April to bring its products together under a single platform.
