IT Leaders React To Trump Victory

Tech leaders from around the world took to Twitter early Wednesday to vent their feelings following the results of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, which saw Republican nominee Donald Trump come out on top.

The sentiments of the tweets ranged from sarcastic to others that were highly emotional. As of 2 p.m. Eastern Time Wednesday, Trump has received 279 electoral votes - nine more than what was needed to win - compared to 228 for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Meanwhile, Clinton is slightly edging out Trump in the popular vote by around 200,000 votes out of more than 119 million cast.
