The home of tech behemoths Microsoft and Amazon is looking to fill more than 51,000 tech jobs, with those two firms, along with Oracle, T-Mobile and upscale retailer Nordstrom accounting for a whopping 52 percent of those openings.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, Seattle boasts the second highest average annual salary in the U.S., at $139,299, with San Francisco on top, at $144,390.
