5 New Cisco IoT Products Partners Should Look At

Cisco Is Bullish On IoT

Cisco continues to invest heavily in the Internet of Things in 2016, unveiling a slew of industrial-focused IoT products this week that channel partners should capitalize on.

Targeting the red-hot industrial IoT (IIoT) vertical, the San Jose, Calif.-based networking giant revealed new switches with analytics capabilities and appliances aimed at accelerating the adoption of IoT solutions. The industrial IoT (IIoT) market will grow at a 21 percent combined annual growth rate (CAGR) over the next five years to $123 billion, according to market research firm IndustryARC.

"With these new technologies, Cisco continues to extend its leadership in the Industrial IoT space," said Tony Shakib, vice president of Cisco's IoT Verticals Solutions Engineering, in a blog post.
