President Trump last week unleashed a flurry of criticism and controversy over his executive order to temporarily ban travelers coming to the U.S. from seven countries, all of which have majority Muslim populations.

Trump also suspended all refugee resettlement into the U.S for four months, as well as refugee resettlement from war-torn Syria indefinitely. The president cited a need to protect the U.S. from potential terrorists as the rationale behind his order. But the move unleashed court challenges as well as protests around the U.S.

Meanwhile, the CEOs of give major technology companies - such as Sundar Pichai of Google and Tim Cook of Apple - slammed Trump's action. Another, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, acknowledged the need to keep the U.S. safe, but said on Facebook: "We should do that by focusing on people who actually pose a threat."
