170 – Approximate number of channel-related positions Dell EMC is looking to fill, out of nearly 400 globally. The openings cover everything from channel marketing, to inside and outside account executives and managers, to sales engineers, product marketers and sales managers, according to the Dell EMC jobs website. The vast majority of the jobs have been posted since the beginning of the year.

$900 million – What solution provider giant Accenture plans to spend to retrain all 200,000 of its technology-focused employees over the next two years in such emerging technologies as cloud, robotics and artificial intelligence. “The large-scale transformation of our business is requiring a very significant investment in our people to ensure they have the most relevant skills to serve our clients both today in the future,” CEO Pierre Nanterme told Wall Street analysts during the company’s earnings call.

17 – Number of hours of an intermittent Microsoft Office 365 outage that prevented some customers from accessing their OneDrive accounts, coupled with two hours of Outlook.com login problems. The intermittent failure with OneDrive came just six days after "storage availability" issues plagued Microsoft's Azure public cloud for eight hours and 10 minutes. Several Office 365 resellers told CRN they didn't see any of their customers affected by the outage. Those impacted used Microsoft Managed Service Accounts to sign in to their cloud services – a less common authentication method for enterprise customers, those partners told CRN.

$15 million – What solution provider Ciber will get from the sale of its Infor business to the software vendor. The Greenwood Village, Colo.-based company, No. 43 on the CRN Solution Provider 500, said it plans to refinance existing debt to repay Wells Fargo $28.2 million by March 31. Ciber didn't indicate how much of the $15 million will be allocated to reimbursing Wells Fargo, and didn't respond to CRN's request for comment.

35 to 54 percent – Average margin partners of real-time communications software provider CafeX Communications can expect by reselling its Supervisor Assist solution, according to Nick Adams, executive vice president of worldwide sales and operations. Supervisor Assist is a web-based tool that contact center supervisors can use to coach, monitor and interact with agents live from any web browser during customer calls. The offering is compatible with third-party contact center systems, such as Cisco and Avaya products.
