VoIP, UC Challenging

Even though more than half of survey respondents' organizations have adopted the technology, VoIP -- and, in general, unified communications (UC) -- remains a challenge when it comes to ensuring performance and optimal end-user experience, Viavi found.

Forty-two percent of respondents cite an inability to view into the edge of the network and branch environments; 41 percent claim they lack visibility into multi-vendor UC environments, while 40 percent say they can't assess the impact of UC deployments on other applications.
