Schwab said D&H also focuses heavily on the success of its vendor partners, which he said the company chooses carefully.

“We don’t carry every vendor, but the vendors we do carry – we want them to win and we want them to take share from their competitors,” Schwab said.

Schwab said D&H is able to drive demand in the small-business market, and since the company has built a carefully selected catalog of vendors, it can help them win in that market. 

He added that by focusing on products that will help its customers build better offerings and services, D&H can serve both its vendor partners and its customers better.

“We create demand for our vendor partners in the small-business environment. We train the resellers, we think about how we can continue to layer on top of that,” he said.
